Assumption Community introduces Asher Haus which is a memory care assisted living facility for seniors.
Asher means to be blessed and Haus is German for house. The name 'Asher Haus' was developed to honor our German Catholic roots. Asher was born the eight son of Jacob and Zilpah, in the Old testament, book of Genesis. He was happy and blessed because the family considered his loving disposition to be their good fortune. 'Haus' is the German spelling of house.
Asher Haus has two neighborhoods, each with 14 private suites. The neighborhoods feature a distinctive kitchen, dining and living room, as well as a multipurpose Great Room, Spa Room, and two outdoor spaces.
Each private suite features a kitchenette with refrigerator, private bath, armoire and dresser, emergency pull cord for 24/7 nursing assistance. These suites allow seniors to have their own space while also allowing common areas in the facility for structured activities, church services, and communal dinning.
Asher Haus is a place of happiness and good fortune for all the blessed people whom we are privileged to welcome here as our family.
